How much does tutoring cost?
$70/hr + GST, flat rate. Every subject, every grade, every tutor — the same price. There are no packages to compare, no contracts, and no hidden fees. You book sessions as you need them and you're only charged after each session, not upfront.
How do I book a session?
You can book directly through our website. Pick a time that works, and you will be matched with the right tutor. The whole process takes about two minutes. No consultation required.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before a session with no penalty.
Cancellations within 24 hours are charged for 100% of the session rate.
Do you offer in-home tutoring?
Yes — we offer both in-home and online tutoring across Calgary. For in-home sessions, your tutor comes directly to you. We give you the option of either having us come to your home, or meeting in an agreed upon public location, such as a library or coffee shop.
How do I conduct payments?

If you book recurring sessions, we'll bill you bi-weekly based on the number of sessions that occurred.
Can you help with learning disabilities like ADHD or dyslexia?
Yes. Our tutors are experienced working with students who have ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences, as well as students on an Individualized Program Plan (IPP) at school. We take a patient, flexible approach — adapting pacing, materials, and teaching methods to how your child actually learns, not how a curriculum assumes they should.
Do you help with diploma exam prep?
Absolutely. We provide targeted preparation for all Alberta Grade 12 diploma exams including ELA 30-1 and 30-2, Social Studies 30-1 and 30-2, Math 30-1 and 30-2, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, and Physics 30. Our tutors know the exam format, the weighting, and where students most commonly lose marks.
What areas in Calgary do you serve?
We primarily serve all Calgary communities in the south for in-home tutoring. For online tutoring, location doesn't matter at all. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, just book a session and we'll confirm availability.
How long are sessions and how often should we book?
Sessions are 60 minutes. Most families book once or twice per week, but there's no minimum commitment — you can book as many or as few as you need and adjust the frequency week to week. Some families ramp up before exams and scale back after. It's entirely flexible.
How are your tutors qualified?
All tutors pass a background check and complete a live teaching demonstration reviewed by our team before they're accepted. We also monitor parent feedback and student outcomes on an ongoing basis to ensure quality stays high.
